What is Offset Print?
OFFSET PRINTING
Offset printing replicates photorealistic designs with excellent clarity. This option can accommodate smaller font sizes and intricate photos and designs. At Givr, this option is only available for folding carton structures and litho labeled corrugated items. Offset accommodates special embellishments like UV Spot Gloss, foil/metallic inks, and embossing/debossing. Need to print on corrugated? Check out Digital Printing or Flexo Printing.
WHAT IS OFFSET PRINTING?
Offset printing uses rigid, often metallic print plates and sustainable oil-based inks to lay down individual colors. These colors can be stand alone spot colors (PMS or GCMI) or process color builds that lay over each other to create high quality, photorealistic images. While offset printing requires more print plates for each design, the cost per plate is typically much lower than flexo print plates. Minimum Order Quantities (MOQs) apply for offset printing. Typically the MOQ for offset is 5,000 pieces.
